RS&H, a 100% employee-owned architecture, engineering and consulting (AEC) firm, today announced three executive leadership appointments that further align the firm’s leadership with its continued growth and Amplify 2030 strategy.

Michael Spencer has joined RS&H as chief legal officer, leading the firm’s legal, risk, compliance and governance functions. He succeeds Marlon Starr, who plans to retire and will serve part-time as executive vice president and special counsel during the transition.

Spencer brings more than 20 years of legal experience advising boards and executive leaders on governance, compliance, ethics and risk in complex global organizations. His career includes senior corporate legal and governance leadership roles, as well as prior service as an assistant U.S. attorney. He holds a law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in finance from James Madison University.

RS&H also promoted Amy Davis, CPA, to chief growth and finance officer. In the expanded role, she will lead the firm’s growth and financial strategy, bringing greater alignment between growth opportunities, investment decisions, enterprise capabilities and financial performance.

Davis, who also serves on RS&H’s board of directors, has served as chief financial officer since 2022. She brings more than 25 years of global experience spanning AEC, retail, manufacturing and Big Four public accounting. Her experience includes strategic planning, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, enterprise risk management and operational finance. She was named EFCG’s 2026 CFO of the Year for her financial leadership and disciplined stewardship.

Additionally, Stephanie Long will join RS&H on Nov. 2 as executive vice president of finance. She brings 20 years of progressive finance leadership experience spanning AEC, retail, education and professional services industries. Her experience includes guiding organizations through growth and change, strengthening financial operations, supporting acquisitions and modernizing financial systems and reporting. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from West Virginia University, majoring in finance with a second concentration in accounting.

“RS&H is entering its next chapter from a position of strength—with the talent, capital and employee-owner mindset to capture the opportunities ahead,” said Lisa Robert, PE, CEO and board chair of RS&H. “By connecting growth strategy, financial discipline and enterprise capabilities more closely, and strengthening our legal and governance leadership, we are positioning the firm to invest with purpose, deliver greater value for clients and create lasting value for generations of employee owners.”
